1961 Split in local garage.
I dropped into my local garage to p-p-p-p-pickup my passat (new brakes and pipes all round, steering C joints, upper control arms, tyres, locking wheel nuts, drives like a new car now :) Every time I've been down there he's had a type 2 in there of one sort or another, but this one was special... thought I would post a pic as it's a rare beast in deed!

Looks like a fleetline. They where built in Brazil and and shipped around the world. If it's original rhd then most likely that it was a south African model.

It's on the wrong plates as vw only did the south African fleetline for one year 1975.
The deluxe sambas have corner Windows......could be Swiss....they went to the right in 62?
