Fresh MOT!

Checked the bus over for it's MOT today, all bulbs working ok, wiper blades totally perished (don't buy Brazilian Jim!!) so replaced with Bosch 13" - £8 for a pair from GSF... everything else seemed fine so in it went, failed initially on a misaligned front lamp, just needed screwing back a touch, also two advisories on wheel bearings (drivers side front and rear) - must cut back on the donuts lol - happy days though all passed now for another year!!

Camping @ Breck Farm

We all went camping near Holt, and found a simple farm camp site. Pretty basic but cheap and big camp fires, camp where u want, woods type affair.

Camp fires were esential as it was pretyy windy and cold, but no rain!!!!! :)

The we discovered the Dreaded Tin Worm!! All over his outer front valance! Garys buzz saw made light work of it......To be continued..

Now all we need is a whole new front valance!!!

Finnally got a little work done on sew today with another day planned for monday. started removing some of the crappy patching from inside the living area, and thought as i was there that i would scrape off the black tar that coverd the floor. you saw the shed roof from monkey boy now get the shed floor from me.








and bellow, a bit more chopping out for the ilusive removable rear valance.

New Toy

New from Fisher Price 1970's rat style play camper. Elliot and Max enjoying my OLD garden feature....well its better than a rockery!!!

Started by stripping the old lining and padding off the old frames. Readjust the springs themselves as they sag a little after 33 years of use.











A single layer of hi density foam to cover the metal springs.












A single layer of soft foam 50mm thick. Then a layer of thick cotton sheet padding to cover and shape the foam a little.




























Then the simple matter of templating your original covers in new vinyl, sewing them together, and hey presto.....new VERY comfortable seats for about £30.

Tegsy back in action!

Spent two days working with my local garage (good fun - helped them with their cars too!) as i'd stockpiled loads of parts, new front wishbone assembly, anti roll bar bushes, goodridge hoses all round, brembo front discs, zimmerman rear discs, new pads all round, new bleed nipples on all calipers, two new handbrake cables - all done!! ... they even put new original badges on it for free, completely clean MOT now, no advisories...


Looks completly stock and now handles like a new one!
Must remember to be light on the brakes till those pads break in lol. Oh and the discs that came off? should've got a photo never seen them worn thru before lol!! Wafferthin and gonzola'd!
