New bumpers and DRY ENGINE

Today Jim added his rear bumper........it makes it look much chunkier.

Gazza look a dry VW Aircooled Engine can you believe it ...and its had 1641 barrels and pistons added!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Repiped

Right corrected oil pipe in front of alternator stand as to protect it (by going around the back of it). Also added locktight to all fittings on breather box - No oil leaks at all. Underside degreased and than ran engine hard to test oil...........still a slight oil stain on heat exchangers and one drop on rear of engine.........but also flushed doghouse out with degreaser so am hoping this is the residue of a years worth of oil leaks and that the engine is finally drying up!!

Piped to carbs

Got some quality fittings and oil pipe from Hayleys today. I know they use jubilee clips but they are good ones. This is only breather pipe but i have built them better than my oil filter pipes, witch also now need upgrading. I was thinking of using the exhaust manifold filter mount uyou can get - once sourced will get quality climped hydrolic hoses.
One center engine vent to lower breather box connecter. Vent Breather back connection to tee piece then off to both carb filter cases. Just like stock............only better! No rocker vents yet but will consider them again......on a really good note the heating system smells clean!! Also not a drop of oil on the undrside of the engine and no slick on top of engine or tinware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Breathe easy

1955cc with bugpack breatherbox with heads and two case vents. Tended to surge oil in cold weather under load. Too many pipes going all over the place. Good for 1641 or under I reckon ;) !! Just as main case breather and.........nice oil filler.........?

Delivery today.....................bits bits bits

Today I fitted a CB breatherbox that has internal bathels to seperate oil and air mix. It has an array of out lets and fitting and block off. I intend to vent the case to the rear center vent on the box not use the lower vents for rockercovers (over complex) and vent the two top vents (need two 90 degree unions) to each carb (like stock ..ish)

Anyway drove her today with out any pipes up top and no oil at all came out!!! Those baffles work really well.......and the engine was totally different again.......quite loud again!!

Returning home blasted plast two bays and a splitt as well, all in kings lynn!!
And I could even add the fancy oil filler point with a blanker...too much or cool comments please
and of course for those purists out there what do you make of this>>>>>>>>>hahahaha

VW camper 35,000miles (supposedly) £2900

Try this one on the bay at the moment, seems in a roughly similar condition to mine before the resto...
