Inside of the bus painted

So no photos as no camera so to follow, but a good day final wet and dry and then the top coat over the interior. Nice one to OCD1 who did all the painting whilst I held the light and just sucked up the fumes.... looking very green .... The mausgrau not me.... Anyway whilst we were working OCD1 mentioned trying to diagnose a sound coming from the drivers side ... Much bouncing later no sound and no diagnosis, perhaps it's just one of those squeaks you gotta live, but said I would post this link to a sound diagnosis article for the type 2 ...

Norfolk Flood Threat

 Red sky in the morning, shepherds warning and all that......

 As the high tide arrived, I ventured up on to the river bank on the Great Ouse, to discover water just oozing out of the bank and around the concrete.....a strange sound.

 On looking over the wall i could clearly see that it was above my knees at this point. on looking over the other side it falls down a good 20/30 foot and the noise from the sluice was terrifying!!! My house sits at least 10 foot beneath this level so I decided to go home!!!

 Driving home along Eaubrink I noticed the old gas main support on the flood bank just sticking out. Went home to discover that the media are very slow to give news. Thankfully the levy held!!!

 This was the sluice at high tide the following morning, still very high but looks almost empty after last night.

The gas support, you had to be there on the Eaubrink flood wall in the dark, to sense the feeling of impending doom......starts off feeling excited, then you realise that if the bank fails there's no way home!!!!
The bridge further down in St Germans, is closed due to structural damage. Kings Lynn states that the levels have never been this high before, and are pleased with the defenses. I recon another 2 feet or bigger waves would have been a different story....and a need for schwimmwagons!!!

I don't like the lack of a sliding door. The all electric engine would have been better if mounted in the rear.

Final wet and dry ready for top coat!

Final stages of preparation for top coat. Seems like I've been priming and cutting back and priming and cutting back for ever now. Ain't been helped by set of broken ribs and too many weekends away.
