went to gti spring festival and the sun shone ...sort of, well no rain anyway, here is a few picys of the day

this frankly stunning 1974 audi 80 coupe (could have quite happily taken this home)








the air cooled fraternity was represented as well, with 4 of the vwdrc beetles in atendance with some others as pictured

Rear bench seat semi-upholstered

Pic's a bit rubbish but I got my needle and thread out at the weekend and managed to cobble together some upholstery for my rear bench seat, it's a brown suede fabric I'd picked up months ago, nice and soft for sleeping on!
Just need some lengths of zippage for finishing off, I've left them slightly loose fit so they won't tear too easily (hopefully lol!)...

Snowy VW's !

Here's a few wintery pics of the vw's both of which have behaved amazingly even on the coldest of days! Just put a brand new 65amph battery in the bus (£54 inc vat) and boy has it breathed in new life, really starts on the button and the lights don't dim the louder you have the stereo on now either LOL happy days
