The Lodge
Also a location map for your information.
FUTURE OCD-VW HQ?
Our new place!
The view from the lane.
This shows the old gateway to Eau Brink Hall that was demolished in the early sixies. All that remains is the lodge (gatehouse) and this wonderful old gate pillar complete with stone ball cap.
This area was used as the chicken run, our formal garden is just visable over the bridge and through the little gate.
Our new geese enjoying the meadow.
Looking down the meadow you can just see the orchard at the end, Not one single partition of land as a shared boundary with a Neighbor, just farmers.
Plenty of places to build a new workshop and plenty of camping pitches!!!! I cant wait to see this meadow full of vw campervans.
Slow Progress
Took this photo opportunity on moving all our kit out of the old cottage, a rather lush picture of the primered underside reflected in a mirror. Not sure when the next push starts!!

TYPE2BARU
We have some strange things occuring in the AIRCOOLED world of OCDVW.....Grumblings and a rumblings can be heard? Could it be a 2.2 ltr waterboxer from Japan?
An example crammed into a beetle......mental.
An example in a type 25, a much better fit. Gary needs an old type 2 or 25 top engine hatch???

SHATTERED
Driving home from work this afternoon, I passed on oncoming truck which hurled some heavy old chunk of stuff at me and I ended up wearing the windscreen. Not much fun at sixty.....thump/crack.......creake....whoooshhh. A really crap week at work, now Ive got another unaccounted cost!!!
Good news is Ive got no rot on the beetle windscreen, I notice that the beetle has two small drain holes drilled into the lower window frame recess corners to allow water to drain away........A good modification for a bus???
