VW Split Screen Sand Blasted.

 Unexpected holes on both sides of cab roof. Lower front windscreen repairs have come to light.

 Center cross section is pretty shot. Outriggers eaten away in places.

 Looking good generally.

 This panel needs lots of beating to give its strength and form back.

You don't want to see the bottom of your doors or rear valance!!!

Subaru Versus VW Campervan

The car in front is not a Toyota but a 1976 VW Kombi powered by a Subaru 1998cc water cooled boxer, the bus you're watching from is a 1975 Kombi powered by a VW type 1955cc air cooled boxer.

If it was not for the approaching corner there would be no real chance of catching my brother, but I think mine has the edge on sound!!!!

VW Propex Heater Versus Severe UK Winter

Considering the cold this winter I am a very happy owner of a propex heater.

 I have fitted it in the center bench, just in front of the rocknroll bed.

 I have vented it through a T piece duct that allow both the original under pipes and the rear compartment to be heated.

 I have had to add additional insulation over the original.

 At minus 10 degrees in Norfolk 2013, 5 mins and I can see!!!

It started with damp conditions and just got colder and colder night after night until we had freezing fog and heavyish snow. All in all it lasted about 10 days but was really quite bad on our quiet rural road.

The road is starting to disappear and I have a dyke or a river either side!!

Its been really cold here!!!
