Corrugated Steel
Sudden progress as the shed grows more layers of corrugated skin. The wonderful timber and crittle windows are also spreading.
All the hoop brackets are being bolted to the concrete and welded back to the hoop.
Going for two sets of double Dorma windows on each side, making a total of eight dormas, with a nice rolled section in the middle for variation.

Nissen Hut Hoops
First hoop up, balanced against an old piece of shuttering.....a bit scary now.
Two up with some of the bolt in perlins attached, really scary now!!
Now picking up some speed, got a technique going.
Bolted at the base to the timber you walk it forward to the next perlin up.
Ready for the next one!!.
3 hoops to go and started to trial some internal corrugated sheets. Lisa prospects the space.
The height is really good, as you can see from this picture. What a fantastic space!!!

G M Concrete
Finally there all prepped, with GM Concrete on site again, damp proof membrane and reinforced mesh to hand.
Thankfully Nigel came back and helped us out loads.....A really good bloke!!!
Jacob supported us loads digitally!!! No, really good help along with Elliot.
All tamped down and must be about 8pm, starting to flag now. Finished in the dark around 11:30!!!!!
De-shuttered and graveled two mornings later. Lisa and I have planted so many new plants the area is lawn seeded and ready to burst into life!!!
I think the beetle is less level than the pad (thank god).
Starting to build up the hoops for the original and historic British Nissen Hut. It will be Huge!!!
