Luciele (entropeas)

Entropeas 1969 Early Bay seen from my rear view mirror out in convoy with the swiss man as tail end charlie. Entropeas is the earliest bus and first bus in our OCD Clinic. Possibly even the finest bus in her completeness and her originality, But really deserves the Time and Effort we plan for her. She has soo much potential............
Again cosying up with swiss for the night at one of apeys bus gatherings/parties. Note the chippies wedge in the background! Happy days............................................................

Opposite sliding door side window sill damage due to shoit old rubbers!

Sliding door widows also gone including the door window frame. Note: crap American window seal in front window - bad join creates rusted widow frame.

Needs a small surface weld here not new panel. Inner wheel arches looking good, note: should there be the usual holes for rubber grommets in side the sill weld, like in a late bay?
Is it worth looking into buying a cleaner sliding door, yours is still worth good cash and is an easy repair, but time consuming?
Dirty Epic has a door........we need a Nearside drivers door (LHD) chris can you help?
Looking at a split crew cab over at bobs today that is getting the OG paint and new paint mix going on but not cover the original patina. Looks quite easy-ish but will needs lots of lacquer, can even leave some original chips and scratches as long as no metal shows............sound good? want some fades signwriting just use basic stencils and a touch of talc.
So Darren whatever way you look at it you need a full set of body window rubbers (no q/lights)
Might need side window frame repair kit x2. poss front window side section repair kit (JK). The time is approaching and your imminent arrival in overalls to help get the ball rolling should be enough. Welding means interior out as well darren. Summer is approaching.......................................

  1. hehe great post! reckon there is something to be said for keeping his original door, after all we've learnt what not to do from doing mine!
saw a set of quarter lights for sale the other day, and I've got one spare at the moment too...
New set of seals, spot of welding and Entropea'll be back in business, just as well cos she'll be forty soon :)
