Popped up to Bakewell today to see Rich and as he was suffering from christmas flu decided to pop into town to fetch and carry his (over the counter) drugs
Bakewell's museum of classic bikes happened to be open so stopped for a gander... check out this lovely Norton Commander
...couldn't help but get distracted by another classic tho
HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!
Lisa and I once got given a flyer for The Bakewell Museum, they just happened to also be making retro micro caravans.....Did you see anything like that...Im sure they were based in Bakewell. Nice walks.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see any in Bakewell that day, but, if it's the tear drop trailer caravans you're talking about then I think there are a few suppliers up and down the country now. Steve Johnson (bus stopover organiser) had an original one in his yard last time i was over for about £1500... needed a bit of work tho
ReplyDeleteArite Hempy glad to see you made it up to the Tinkers again for a spot of gerbilising :_)
ReplyDeleteHow about heading down this way for a spot of riveting in the new year?
That yellow AA bike looked awesome!
ReplyDeleteWe could make a three wheeler version using an old beetle chassis cut in half... errr... NOT ruby tho! ;)
Hehe what we want is a citroen visa, cheap as chips and front configuration is perfect for three wheeler antics... ! NO NOT RUBY she is too lovely to chop! :)
