3 Wheeler special update - The French Connection

Quick update on Dad's 3 Wheeler project - being built for the Classique Boulard rally in France, if you remember me mentioning it! (I welded up the rear swing arm - citroen hub assembly). Not much to look at just yet but the panelling is coming together next - more to follow soon :)
(that is if 2 cylinder aircooled is welcome here ;)

  2. Is that bulkhead panel from a 2cv? Also I guess a four pot vw engine disqualifies you from any competitions? Looks pretty complex at this stage in terms of allignment!!!

  3. All the parts used are X-2cv (well it's Citreon Viva - the 80's version). All the alignment issues are at the rear swing arm, the bearing housing & the rear wheel hub - all of that is custom. The rest is fairly standard...
4-pot would rule out of some stuff but not all, main issue would be too much weight hanging out the front, he has gone for a 850cc Pannard X industrial-use 2-pot (soo small compared to our brutes lol!) over the original 650cc 2cv lump
