This could be the one!!
That last syncro was a right lemon! OK it was a rare RHD limited late edition, but only worth about 5k max (with about 2.5k needed just to keep it roadworthy). And I really need a pickup as a daily driver, rather than another camper.
So this could be the one (click to view the ebay item):-
More photos of the underside here: http://s1259.photobucket.com/user/hammerhead42/library/?sort=3&page=1
Apparently the guys had it for a couple of years and bought it off a bloke on the Isle of White where it was used in a woodland carrying charcoal around. Found this blog post from campervan culture which backs up his story: http://campervanculture.com/2012/11/early-rhd-t25-syncro-single-cab-pick-up-for-sale-81988-f-reg/
So it's known in the community ;)
It's had a 1.9 AAZ engine fitted. F&R diff locks (Which are seized) Hand painted in "red arrows" red over the original blue. VC is fine, apparently.
6 months MOT and Tax.
I'm off to see it next Wednesday morning as soon as he gets back off holiday.
This could be our expedition support vehicle for our great northern road trip!!

TFF
So this morning a JCB Teleporter towing a diesel bowser going at speed, leaves Eaubrink road (tire tracks visible going to the right)
Still off the road.
Just misses the hidden dyke.
Continues skidding........
Then careers to the left spilling diesel, destroys my front wall, completely, and ends up stranded in the mess of our front garden.
The other section of wall to the right is split and fractured also.
This is where the front tyre of the tractor came to rest. This machine has a telescopic fork lift on the front, so it is amazing it did not hit the house. Even more amazing is the fact that my son Jacob was still asleep (he works late) and on being woken up stated "yeah, I thought I did hear a loud tractor and a brick fall" Jacob had a very near miss this morning and he is very lucky.
