Oh Ruby...

She's got a lot of rot under all that stone chip! Got some angle braces welded in, then chopped out the nasty remains of the heater chanel.

I've had to order a backing plate for the rear crossmember / heater chanel.

So the floor pan and rear crossmember had to go, so I can leaver up the floor to the chanel...

Waiting for the backing plate to come so I can chop out the last of the rot!

It will have to be plates for the wheel arch for now, as there isn't quite enough to warrant a new wheel arch (phew!).

I want a new beam like Gary's now! ;)

  1. poor ruby, major surgery! but it'll be worth it when that front end lifts off the ground with a ripper motor in the back :)) nice work on the bracing too!
